  28. Sachin & Brian Lara are the fastest to score 10,000 runs in Test cricket history. Both of them achieved this in 195 innings.
  29. He became the first Indian to surpass the 11,000 run mark and overall third behind Allan Border and Brian Lara.
  30. In 2007, Sachin Tendulkar (5751) passed Brian Lara’s record of highest runs scored in Tests away from home.
  31. He has scored centuries against all Test playing nations. He was the third batsman to achieve the distinction after Steve Waugh and Gary Kirsten.

  38. He broke his record of most number of runs in a World Cup- 673 runs in 2003.

  43. He is the only player to score a Debut Century in all three of his Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy and Irani Trophy.
  44. He has most number of 90s (28) in the International Cricket.
  45. At the age of 19, he became the first overseas born player to represent Yorkshire.
  46. He has been granted the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, Arjuna Award and Padma Vibhushan by Indian government, the only Indian cricketer to get all of them.

  55. He is the only batsman to be out by the same bowler on his debut ODI as well as Test.
  56. He has a World Record of 5 Test Centuries before he turned 20.

  59. Sachin & Sourav has a record of highest century partnerships (21) for opening pair.
  60. He also holds a record of Highest Partnership of 331 runs in ODIs with Rahul Dravid, which was achieved in 1999 & still unbeaten (Sachin 186*, Dravid 153).
  61. Sachin has been involved in highest 200+ run partnerships (6) in ODIs; shared with Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid.
